OpenDesign starts from a brief and has a coding agent build a prototype, deck, image or motion piece that follows your DESIGN.md and design system. It ships with skills, templates and design systems you can inspect and change, and it can also run as a skill or MCP server inside Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot and other agents.
The desktop app is for Apple silicon and Intel Macs. It detects the agent CLIs on your PATH; without one you can use your own API key, including local endpoints such as Ollama and LM Studio.
The app is free under Apache-2.0. Optional OpenDesign Cloud plans start at $10 a month. With a local model nothing leaves your Mac; otherwise prompts go to the provider you pick.
How to Get It
