Cursor is a code editor built around an AI agent: you chat with it, ask for changes across files and review the diffs. A command-line version runs the same agent in the terminal, in scripts and in GitHub Actions, and there's an iPhone and iPad app, published on the App Store by X Corp.
Homebrew's cask lists macOS 12 or later; the iPhone app needs iOS 26.0.
The free plan has limited agent and chat requests. Paid plans run from $8 a month (Plus, Grok models only) to $200 a month, and third-party models are billed separately by usage. The AI runs in the cloud.
