Mistral Vibe CLI gives you a chat with your codebase in the terminal: it explores, edits and runs code, delegates to subagents and supports skills and custom slash commands.

It needs Python 3.12 or later and targets UNIX systems such as macOS. Install it with Mistral's script, uv, pip or Homebrew, then run vibe in your project.

The tool is free, but it needs a Mistral API key from console.mistral.ai; the models run on Mistral's servers.
