Kiro is an IDE where agents work from specs: requirements, a design and a task list come before the code. It's also available as a CLI, a web app and an early-access mobile app, and they share your .kiro settings.
The IDE runs on Intel and Apple silicon Macs; Homebrew's cask lists macOS 13 or later.
Kiro Free includes 50 credits a month with open-weight models and Claude Sonnet 4.5. Paid plans run from Pro ($20) to Power ($200) per user a month. The models run in the cloud.
brew install --cask kirocurl -fsSL https://cli.kiro.dev/install | bashbrew install --cask kiro-cliOfficial downloads only. MLX never re-hosts an app, and never runs a command for you.
