Devin Desktop is the new name for Windsurf. It keeps the Windsurf IDE and puts an agent command center in front: spaces, a kanban view and several agents at once, local or in Devin's cloud. Other agents connect through the Agent Client Protocol.
Cognition supports the macOS versions that still get Apple security updates; Homebrew's cask lists macOS 12 or later. A Devin CLI and a JetBrains plugin are also available.
The free plan has a light quota; Pro is $20 a month and Max $200 a month. The models run in the cloud.
How to Get It
brew install --cask devin-desktopOfficial downloads only. MLX never re-hosts an app, and never runs a command for you.
