PocketPal AI downloads GGUF models, including from Hugging Face, and runs them on the phone. It works offline with no account, and can speak answers with on-device voices.
The iPhone and iPad app needs iOS 15.1. Apple lists it for Apple silicon Macs too (macOS 12 or later, M1 or newer) as an iPad app.
The app is free and MIT-licensed; PocketPal Plus is an optional in-app purchase. Prompts and documents stay on the device unless you turn on an online feature such as web search.
How to Get It
Official downloads only. MLX never re-hosts an app, and never runs a command for you.
