Pixelmator Pro edits photos and makes graphics. Its built-in intelligence includes Super Resolution, which scales images up and keeps them sharp, and one-click background removal. Apple says its AI features build on Apple Intelligence.
Apple lists it for macOS 26 and iPadOS 26; the iPad version needs an M1 or later, an iPad (A16) or an iPad mini (A17 Pro). The older one-time-purchase listing on the Mac App Store states macOS 12 or later.
It costs $49.99 once on the Mac App Store, or comes with Apple Creator Studio ($12.99 a month or $129 a year). Apple notes some features need an internet connection.
