mflux is a set of command-line tools that generate and edit images with open models written from scratch in MLX, Apple's machine learning framework. Commands such as mflux-generate-z-image-turbo take a prompt, size, seed and steps.
It installs with uv (uv tool install --upgrade mflux) and needs Python 3.11 or later. It runs on MLX, which needs an Apple silicon Mac with macOS 14 or later. The first run downloads the model.
mflux is free and open source under the MIT licence. Images are made on your Mac; nothing is sent to a server.
uv tool install --upgrade mfluxOfficial downloads only. MLX never re-hosts an app, and never runs a command for you.
