Opera Neon is a browser with AI agents built in. Neon Chat answers questions, three research agents gather and analyse sources (Local Research uses your own browsing context), and Neon Do works through tasks on web pages. Other agents can connect to the browser through MCP or a CLI.
It is available for macOS and Windows, with the interface in about 40 languages.
The agent features need a $19.90-a-month subscription and an Opera account. Neon Do runs in your browser but uses cloud models; chat and most research run in the cloud. Page content is sent to Opera's and OpenAI's servers and kept for 365 days; passwords, cookies and card details stay on your device, and Opera says it does not train models on your data.
